We’re up on the plane listening to the captain’s commentary about the weather and time in Christchurch and informing us that we’re touching down at Chch airport in 30 minutes time. “Phew, finally..” I thought. It was a long 10 hours with a heart full of anticipation. The plane was cruising above a wonderful landscape, so much greens, little white spots on the greens (grass-grazing sheep) :), when everything looked so peaceful, then I saw the mountains! The snow-capped mountains! Do allow me to use exclamation for I’ve never seen it before with my own eyes. Stanley was equally excited and we’re both in awe. “They looked like chocolates with icing sugar spreaded on top.” I said. And he laughed saying that it’s surely delicious. Yup, I knew this trip would surely be yummy… :)
